Plumbing enquiries for the work your business takes on
A leaking float valve can fit between two booked visits; a cylinder replacement needs time for a survey, parts and a drain-down. GetPlumbingQuotes.co.uk brings plumbing enquiries to Leads Do Work so businesses can find work that suits their services and coverage.
Create a free contractor account and browse available enquiries in the app. Set your plumbing services and the places you can realistically reach. When choosing paid access, check the current package price, terms and what customer details it includes.

What a plumbing lead gives you
A lead starts with someone asking about work at a property. It gives your business an opportunity to speak to that customer, establish the fault and offer a quotation. An enquiry may be shared with up to four suitable contractors. It does not guarantee an appointment, an accepted price or a paid job.
You set your charges and decide whether the enquiry is suitable. Your business remains responsible for advice, surveys, contracts, repairs and payment arrangements. Lead availability depends on customer demand and coverage; buying a package does not guarantee a particular income.
Choosing a lead pack
Lead packs of 5, 10 or 20 leads let you choose how many enquiries to start with. Confirm the options currently offered in your account, including pricing, renewal, expiry and any credit conditions, before paying.
5-lead pack
This gives a sole trader a small set of enquiries to assess around existing visits. Allow time to call customers and identify spares, as well as to carry out a repair if it is booked.
10-lead pack
A business that regularly handles domestic repairs may want more enquiries to quote for. Consider how many return visits you can manage when a tap cartridge or concealed flush mechanism has to be ordered.
20-lead pack
A team with several plumbers may have capacity for a larger pack. Make sure someone can respond, survey cylinder jobs and arrange any electrical work before increasing the volume.
Choose the plumbing services you can deliver
Water Tanks and Cylinders
Loft cisterns, vented and unvented cylinders, thermal stores, damaged connections and replacement controls. Capacity, heat source and removal access all matter when a vessel needs replacing.
Taps, Leaks and Overflows
Tap washers and ceramic cartridges, leaking copper or plastic joints, waste traps and overflow faults. Say whether water escapes continuously or only when a fitting is used.
Ball Valves and Stopcocks
Float valves that fail to shut off, stiff stopcocks and missing local isolation valves. The plumber needs a safe way to shut off the supply before changing a faulty valve.
Toilet Flush Repairs
Flush valves, syphon diaphragms, fill valves, buttons, cables and levers. Mention concealed cisterns and any sign that the problem is in the waste pipe rather than the cistern.
Showers and Shower Pump Repairs
Mixer cartridges, restricted filters, weak flow, temperature swings and failed or noisy pumps. A replacement pump must suit the hot and cold supplies, not just fit the available space.
Immersion Heaters
Failed elements, thermostats, cut-outs and associated controls. The work needs the right combination of plumbing and electrical skills, particularly where a cylinder must be drained.
Select specialist cylinder, pump and immersion work only where your business has the necessary competence or an agreed arrangement with a suitable contractor. Be clear about who undertakes electrical testing, unvented commissioning and any required notification. General plumbing experience alone should not be presented as a specialist qualification.
Set a workable area
For small valve and flush repairs, travel, parking and a return trip for parts can account for a large share of the job. Choose coverage around the work you actually want. A cylinder replacement may justify travelling further than a single tap washer.
Check the customer’s full postcode and any shared access before offering a time. Keep your service and area settings current as the diary fills. Coverage settings help match enquiries; they do not promise demand in every selected area.
Respond with the questions that matter
- Check whether water is still escaping and whether the customer is seeking urgent attendance. Do not imply that a lead purchase has booked an emergency visit.
- Ask for the fitting’s make, an accessible label and a photo showing the surrounding installation. Do not ask customers to open electrical covers.
- For toilets, establish whether the fault is refill, flush or waste clearance, and whether the cistern is concealed.
- For cylinders, pumps and immersions, establish the supply and heat source before suggesting a replacement.
- Confirm who can authorise the job, especially for rented homes or shared supplies.
- Explain your call-out or diagnostic charge and likely next step before arranging attendance.
Quote for the whole repair
A price for a pump alone leaves questions about hoses, valves, mounting and electrical work. A cylinder quote needs capacity, controls, removal, commissioning and any discharge alterations. Name those items so the customer can compare the proposed work.
Agree how concealed faults or seized fittings will be dealt with. Record the problem, explain the revised scope and obtain approval before additional work. State whether VAT, disposal and making good are included, and set out the payment and guarantee terms.
Register your plumbing business
Businesses joining the network are asked for relevant insurance details and references. Keep the account information accurate, including the services you offer and qualifications relevant to those services. For current account information, visit Leads Do Work or use the app links above.
Frequently asked questions
Are plumbing leads exclusive?
An enquiry may be shared with up to four suitable contractors. Treat it as an opportunity to discuss and quote for the work, rather than an exclusive booking.
Can I browse before buying a pack?
You can create a free contractor account and browse available enquiries in the app. Check the paid access options and terms in your account before choosing a package.
Does a lead guarantee a plumbing job?
No. The customer may decide not to proceed, choose another contractor or need a different service. Appointments, acceptance and paid work are not guaranteed.
Who decides the repair price?
Your business assesses the job and sets the price. You also agree the scope, timing, contract and payment directly with the customer.
